Debra Blomquist R.N. BSN

Administrator and Owner

A graduate of the BSN Program at the University of Texas at Arlington, Debra Blomquist has been working within the home care field for 23 years. In 2008 Debra began Accessible Home Health providing care via Medicaid programs and then added Accessible Home Care which operates through Medicare in 2012. Debra serves as a member of the Saline County Planning and Zoning Commission, as a board member of the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, on the advisory board of the Disability Planning Organization of Kansas, and as a member of the Professional Advisory Committee at Brown Mackie College Department of Nursing.

Richard Yaple DO

Medical Director

Dr. Richard Yaple graduated from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and is Certified on the American Board of Osteopathic Internal Medicine. He is a
specialist in Internal Medicine and has served as our Medical Director since 2012.

Dea Whitaker, R.N. BSN

Director of Nursing

Dea is a Kansas Wesleyan University Alumni, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2010. She joined Accessible Home Care in 2014 as a staff nurse and was promoted to Director of Nursing. Dea has found her passion home health nursing and continually ensures quality patient care. Outside of work, Dea is a mother of 6 young children and is often found at the ball park cheering them on!

Senior Clinical Liaison

Tammie graduated from the Asbury School of Nursing and completed her BSN at Kansas Wesleyan University. Tammie is a founding member of Salina's Alzheimer's Support and Education group. She is a mother of four and has two grandchildren. Tammie enjoys volunteering to improve community.

Justina Briant, RN

Assistant Director of Nursing

Justina graduated from Brown Mackie College in 2010 with her ADN. Justina has worked in healthcare for 12 years and over this time has advanced her education from CNA to LPN and finally to RN. Justina has an extensive background in geriatric care with four years of home health experience. Justina recently joined the Accessible Home Care team as a staff nurse and was promoted to Assistant Director of Nursing. Justina enjoys interacting with patients and helping them in any way possible. Outside of work Justina loves embarking on life's adventures with her family.

Kathleen Depperschmidt SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Kathleen is a licensed and ASHA certified speech language pathologist. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology at Fort Hays State University in 1994. Kathleen has 17 years of medical experience with adults in home health, private, inpatient/outpatient, acute and rehab settings, and four years of experience with school children.

Krystle Howard

Office Manager

Krystle joined Accessible in June 2017 as Office Manager and assisting HR efforts for the Home Care team. She graduated from Salina Central in 2004 and went on to school at Fort Hays and Cloud County. She has acquired her Associates in business Administration and studied Psychology. She obtained her CNA through Vo-Tech of Salina. She has 5 kids and 2 cats and adds 7 years of Office Management experience to the table!

Tim has been an outpatient physical therapist for 27 years and involved with home health therapy for two years. He received his Bachelor's from KSU, his Master's at Fort Hays and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University.

Danya received her BS at University of Nebraska, Kearney in Exercise Science and received her PTA certification at Washburn University in Topeka. Aside from her education, she brings six years of health experience to Accessible. Danya joined Accessible in April 2014. Danya is the proud mother of two children. Danya is currently working towards becoming LSVT BIG certified, specializing in Parkinson's Disease.

Shelly Arnold OTR

Occupational Therapist

Shelly graduated from Kansas Newman College with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. She has worked as Registered Occupational Therapist in Salina and surrounding areas throughout her career. She works full time for Central Kansas Cooperative in Education with children ages three to twenty-one. Shelly also enjoys working with adults and elderly home health patients for Accessible Home Care.

Kelley is a 2012 graduate of Brown Mackie College - Salina in Occupational Theraphy Assisting. Kelley has enjoyed her work experience in rehab departments of skilled nursing facilities in Salina and Cloud counties. She loves working for Accessible Home Care and considers it a blessing to be able to help people reach their goals of increased safety and independence.

Seth joined Accessible Home Care in April 2015 as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Seth is a 2014 Colby Community College graduate with an Associate of Applied Science degree and has experience in outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facilities. He enjoys opportunities assisting people in reaching their goals and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Jenn graduated from Brown Mackie College Salina in 2009. She has over five years of home health experience--working with both pediatric and geriatric patients. Outside of work Jenn loves spending time with her four daughters, reading, and traveling.

Christina joined our team in September, 2015. She loves helping and caring for others in the comfort of their own homes. Christina began her career in the healthcare field in 2000 and graduated from Brown Mackie in 2009 with a nursing degree. In addition to her experience with Home Healthcare Christina also has hospital experience where she specialized in Oncology. Outside of work she enjoys time with her three children and loving husband.

Charlene lends her skillful interaction and personal touch with clients in their homes to Accessible. In her free time Carlene enjoys motorcycle rides, traveling, and spending time with with her grandchildren.

Sharon has been in the Home Health field for over 20 years and enjoys the one-on-one interactions with clients in their homes. Sharon has had some of her clients for 11 years and they have become family to her. She enjoys cooking new and interesting foods and making quilts with her clients. Sharon enjoys time with her children and husband when she is not working.

Pre-employment screening, at a minimum, criminal background check, driving record check, OIG and National Sex offender registry check, TB screening, reference checks, professional licensure verification as well as skills verification and completion of CPR certification. Employees undergo extensive pre-employment training on safety, ethics, MSDS, HIPAA, confidentiality, Medicare standards, Infection control, regulatory guidelines, prevention of fraud and abuse, detecting and reporting adult abuse.
